Your finished transfer can only be as sharp and accurate as the artwork you submit. Follow these guidelines before ordering to protect the size, detail, color, and transparency of your design.
Choose or submit the exact dimensions you want printed. We print the size approved in your order and do not independently resize, correct, or enhance artwork after submission.
Start with your order type
Both options require finished, high-quality artwork. The difference is whether you submit one design or an entire completed sheet.
Use this option when you want one or more transfers of the same logo or design and do not want to build a gang sheet.
Use this option when you already arranged all designs and copies on one complete, print-ready sheet.
Core file requirements
These requirements apply whether you upload one design or a completed gang sheet.
PNG is preferred because it supports transparent backgrounds and clean artwork edges.
Remove every background area that you do not want printed.
Aim for 300 DPI at the final dimensions you want printed.
Prepare your artwork in RGB color mode for the best output.
Submit or approve the exact size you want us to print.
Resolution at final size
DPI only makes sense together with print dimensions. A file that looks sharp at three inches may become blurry if submitted for a twelve-inch print.
Transparency matters
A transparent area is different from a white background. The checkerboard pattern in design software normally represents transparency.
Good files produce better transfers
Arcane Transfers prints the artwork and dimensions approved with your order. Please inspect everything carefully before checkout.
Final preflight
Taking one minute to review the file can prevent an incorrect or unusable print.
Common questions
No. You determine the final print dimensions when preparing or approving the order. We print the approved size and do not independently change it after submission.
Files are printed as submitted. We do not correct spelling, remove backgrounds, improve resolution, redraw artwork, or make design changes before production.
A PNG is preferred. JPG files do not support transparent backgrounds, so any visible background in the file may print.
Low-resolution artwork can print blurry or pixelated, especially when enlarged. Review the artwork at its final print dimensions before submitting it.
Build the file at the exact 22-inch-wide sheet dimensions you plan to purchase, then select the matching length on the product page.
Contact Arcane Transfers before ordering. It is easier to answer a file question before production than after the artwork has been printed.
